Initial Report: Track Washout near Alvord IA (Marshall Subdivision)

On Friday, June 21,2024 at 03:30 A.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a track washout near Alvord IA which has affected the main track. Alvord IA is approximately 30 miles Southeast of Sioux Falls SD. BNSF field personnel are responding to assess the site. The estimated time for opening the main track has not been determined at this time.
