Initial Report-Train Derailment near Adamana, AZ (Gallup Subdivision)

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at approximately 07:53 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Adamana, AZ which has affected both main tracks. Adamana, AZ is approximately 21 miles East of Sun Valley, AZ. BNSF personnel are responding to assess the affected area. The estimated time for opening main track one has not been determined at this time. The estimated time for opening main track two is 04:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 21,2023.
