NEW! Trace Automotive Web Tool Launching September 4
BNSF will launch the new Trace Automotive Tool on September 4, which will replace the existing Automotive Portal Tool. This new tool is robust and intuitive – a high-value addition. It will serve as the go-to source for monitoring the status of your VINs and the railcars used to transport your shipment(s).
If you currently have access to the Automotive Portal Tool, there is no change required by you as a BNSF.com user. We will automatically migrate your access to the new Trace Automotive Tool. If you would like access to the new tool, please submit your request within the BNSF Customer Portal from the Web Tools Directory starting on September 4th.
To access the new Trace Automotive Tool, please visit the BNSF Customer Portal and search for “Trace Automotive Tool” within “All Web Tools” found in the lefthand navigation bar. On the Trace Automotive web tool tile, select “Request Access” to submit for approval or, if/when you have access then select “Launch.” Bookmark the web tile for future convenience.
NOTE: The legacy Automotive Portal Tool will be decommissioned October 10th.
If you have any questions, please contact eBusiness via Message Us from the BNSF Customer Portal, using the keywords “web support” when prompted for the reason for inquiry.
We appreciate your business and are committed to improving your customer experience.
