Update Report Train Derailment near Cairo NE Ravenna Subdivision
| On Friday, February 9th, 2024 at 4:43 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Cairo, NE which has affected both main tracks. Cairo, NE is approximately 17 miles east of Ravenna, NE. BNSF field personnel are responding to assess the derailment site. Main track two was returned to service on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:32 p.m. CDT. The estimated time for opening main track one has not been determined at this time. |
