Update Report: Train Derailment near Charleston, KS (La Junta Subdivision)

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at approximately 03:30 PM. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Charleston, KS which has affected the main track. Charleston, KS is approximately 35 miles west of Dodge City, Kansas. BNSF personnel are responding to assess the affected area. The estimated time for opening the main track is 09:00 P.M on July 25, 2024.
